Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 October 2026

Asia Actually is a travel information website run by Joe. This page explains what information is collected when you use it. The short version: very little.

What this site doesn't do

  • There are no accounts, sign-ups, comments or newsletters.
  • There are no analytics or advertising trackers.
  • The site does not set cookies.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel processes basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested, so the site can be delivered and protected from abuse. This is handled under Vercel's own privacy policy.

If you email me

If you contact joecuthbert27@gmail.com, I'll use your email address and message only to reply and, if you've reported a problem, to fix the page. I won't add you to a mailing list or share your details.

Links to other websites

Guides link to other websites, such as official government pages. Those sites have their own privacy policies. If affiliate links are added in future, the booking site you visit may use cookies to record that you arrived from Asia Actually; this page will be updated when that happens.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask what personal data is held about you, and ask for it to be corrected or deleted. Email joecuthbert27@gmail.com. If you're unhappy with how your data has been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
